John Randell grew up in Millbury, MA playing sports and exploring the wooded paths in Central Massachusetts. He first developed an interest in photography while attending Worcester State College where he earned a degree in communications.
Following graduation, he started working as a rural postal carrier in Sutton, MA where everyday was an opportunity to see wildlife in this beautiful Blackstone Valley farm town.
The desire to share his love for nature led him to the start a wildlife group on social media. John created and co-manages a facebook page called Wildlife of Worcester County and Beyond with another wildlife enthusiast. This group encourages local nature lovers to photograph and identify all kinds of wildlife.
John loves to travel to photograph a variety of animals. however he is just as happy to take a short walk in the familiar woods of Central Massachusetts to take a good picture of a common bird.
